  This evening I left furious and felt very discriminated against. I have been purchasing alchohol from this facility for the past two months and have never had a problem until tonight. From the moment that I was standing in line at the check-out counter I felt the eyes of the clerk on me as she was watching me hold a six pack of beer in my hand. I am not a large person, and get told that I look young very often. Regardless of that, I have a legitimate ID stating that I am 21 and turned so in May of 2007. She told me that she could not accept my ID and I left very frustrated. I have been in the customer service field for over five years and felt that I needed to go back and clear up the misunderstanding. When I went back to this station I was told that my legitimate ID was unacceptable and the reasoning was mostly that the clerks had never "seen me in there before." Regardless of state law, (my ID having small red writing on the top saying "under 21 until 5-20-07" even though it is January 21st 2008...I felt very discriminated against from the second I walked in there, and will never go back again. The clerks each handled my problem in an unprofessional and childish manner. I have never felt so disgusted. I asked for a number to call the GM and was given an incorrect number. I will never go back there and was told by one clerk that, "well that is ok" (that I will never be back)...ok so I am only one customer, but for that I will tell at least 10!
